Go to the bottom of the page to "Additional Downloads"
You can install either the "South Bridge Driver" 3.6 MB or "Raid Driver" 4.1MB.
These drivers are similarity of 5516 Drivers, may some of 5517 series drivers doesn't match with one or more driver. Please share here if you have reference for specific drivers.

VGA driver didn't work. All others workink fine!
El vga no anda... busce el crystal de ati la serie x1200 y anda perfecto , de estos controladores no me anda el wifi tendras alguna solucion? lo demas lo tengo todo andando

Go to the bottom of the page to "Additional Downloads"
You can install either the "South Bridge Driver" 3.6 MB or "Raid Driver" 4.1MB to remove the install errors on XP's hardware page in device manager
I already download it(webpam_2.2.1540.29.exe) but is not working

This is awesome...I need to embed the SATA drivers to install xp. Are they the same as aspire 5516????

I still don't see the sm bus drivers?????
ok I have searched the web for days now, and still has not found the wirless drivers for the broadcom bcm4310. The ones listed here gives me a coldboot and then only option is choosing the last good known config.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?? I reinstalled windows xp and all works well until I install that driver.
I found the drivers for that same device but it was from hp and it installed just fine, but never showed up anywhere.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I found the Vga drivers for xp for this acer aspire 5517 with vga radeon hd3200 they worked excellent, they have a fix made to make them work in XP.. here is the link:

The wireless network does not go. when the install reboots and I press to enter "Last Known Good Configuration." what is the solution?. thank you very much
